Wedding: Both Parents Walking Down the Aisle?

Chelsea, on January 18, 2020 at 6:18 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 5
We don’t have any ushers in our wedding, so I was thinking having both of my parents walk me down. I’m a Christian and I know it’s done in the Jewish & Catholic weddings. What does everybody else think?

I’d say go for it! That was my original plan, but it would have caused too much drama on my end (parents are divorced, dad hasn’t spoken to my mom since then). I love the idea that both parents, who both had a major part in raising you, being honored with walking you down the aisle.

I say if that’s what you want then do it! If my mom we’re still alive I would have done the same thing!

I think it’s a great idea. I’m going to do the same thing. I can’t wait to have them together walking me down aisle.
