Wedding band help!

Madison, on August 17, 2020 at 4:22 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
I’ve never wanted a super simple band, I’ve always wanted something a little more “extravagant” but not too crazy. I’m having the hardest time finding a band that matches the shape of my ring that isn’t super crazy or super simple. I’ve attached a picture of my ring and the band I’m considering. There’s a lot going on with both of them as you can see, so i’m not sure if they will compliment each other!! Any thoughts on this band or suggestions for other styles? I’m not totally against a simple band if that’s what looks best in the end, but I really wanted something a little extra!Wedding band help! 1

Honestly, I’d go to a jeweler and try some rings there, because what you may like may not look good and what you least expect will look great. Trust them, that’s their job

Go to the store and pair them together! That’s what I did

I think trying rings on together is the best way to go. That way you get exactly what you want. It's just as important as dress shopping, if not more especially because you'll wear it everyday FOREVER!

I think those two would look fine together

Definitely try things on. I have a 3 stone ring as well and really wanted an “extra” band to match but when I tried it all on together, it was just too much for every day. I also felt it distracted from the engagement ring.

I'm an "extra" girl, too, so I totally understand. I have to agree with everyone else and say go into a store and try bands on with your ering. I thought I wanted the halo band like in your picture to go with my twist-style ering, but a half halo with smaller diamonds looked much better. Just like your dress, try on a few styles to see what you like and go from there!

Definitely go to a jeweler to see what they say. I think I'd lean toward something with smaller diamonds and have it custom made so it curves around your engagement ring. Your ring is gorgeous, but it takes up a lot of space on your finger, so you might not have space to wear it comfortably with the band in the other picture.

Your best option is to go try on several different bands. Things look totally different on, and actually paired with you ring, than they do in photos.

Although I love that band, I do think it will take away from your ring and might be too much on your finger. I'd recommend something that contours to your diamond!!!
