I vote a band with those same inset round stones on your engagement band!

You should decide first if you want a band that fits around your ring (on one side or both sides) or a straight band that is nor fitted to your engagement ring. Your choice might depend on how traditional your style is. Also, if you get a band that has stones, you should consider what your risk is of loosing one of them. You have a lot of good options to choose from!


For me, I got a solid metal band without stones so I do not have to worry about knocking one loose. I was in love with an eternity band but decided against it since I plan to wear my rings all the time, every day. (That eternity band may be something we get for an anniversary down the road though...) I also picked a band with the same milgrain detail that was on my engagement ring so that it echoes that style but is still durable. Here is my engagement ring and band, for reference:

I agree that the biggest choice is going to be whether you go for straight or curved! Depending on the way your basket sits, your straight band might fit underneath, or it might not. I think I would go for something that echoed the bubble design of your engagement ring band - like so:
