Wedding Attire- Help!

Is it a used dress? If not, it's probably from a China based website that steals designs from other companies and sells the lesser versions as their own. Not only would I be worried about the quality, but morally I couldn't support that.

Is it from an Asian knockoff site? If so then it is not the same dress. Someone steals the design and then tries to recreate it using cheaper materials. Only do it if you have the time and money to get a new dress if it turns out poorly.

Can you share a picture of the dress? Maybe we can help point you in the direction of a similar one in your price range? You could also check out cocomelody and azazie. They are online shops that are trustworthy and affordable.

My friend went to them with her vision and inspiration and the create a custom dress for you starting at 800 I think. It's definitely not 300 but it also has alterations cost built in and I've heard nothing but great reviews.

I would suggest a pre-owned wedding dress over a seller from an Asian site.

I agree, be cautious looking online as there are many knock-off websites out there that steal pictures from shops and sell you a product that looks nothing like the photo. Of it sounds too good to be true there's a big chance that it is. If you are open to previously owned dresses you may be able to find the real thing gently used. I understand that's not for everyone. I buy my daily clothing from consignment shops myself. It's Howe I've gotten high quality items on a budget; and the best part is no one knows but me. I will keep an eye out for something like that

Also look on Ebay and poshmark. Both favor buyer protection, so the only issue you'll have with these is sizing. Know your size.

I would also google "wedding dress consignment near me" to see if you have any physical shops near by as well.

I bought my wedding dress online, but it came from another bride off Facebook Marketplace. She bought 2 dresses from a boutique and just decided not to wear this one so it was still brand new without alterations. Definitely go that route instead of buying from a Chinese knockoff site! In addition to Facebook Marketplace, I looked at dresses other brides were selling on preownedweddingdresses.com, stillwhite.com, tradesy.com, and Poshmark!
