Wedding After Party?? What’re you doing after wedding?

Hi all! My wedding will end at approx 10pm - some think that’s too early, but it’s what will be booked. Wondering if anyone is doing an after party, going to a local wine bar, etc after their wedding?

We hopped into Uber’s and went to a nearby bar with maybe 12 or 15 of our friends. It’s a country music bar with a live band. I wore my dress and veil but switched out my heels for flip flops

We are having ceremony/reception at B&B. We have to end by 10. We are staying overnight for a little honeymoon, but some guests are allowed to stay for after party as long as we keep it "tame".. due to City noise ordinances ... Sunday night.

Ours is ending at 3pm, since it's a morning ceremony. It's destination as well, so ending it that early will be nice for our guests that want to head home. I plan to hit the beach again and if there's still people wanting to party, otherwise I plan on going back to my hotel with my bridal party and play Cards Against Humanity.

We had a brunch wedding that ended at 3:30pm and then an after party from 5-9pm. It was a blast!!! (Although a few people were so drunk from the wedding reception that they didn’t make it to the after party). 🤷🏻‍♀️

I went to a wedding that after we got shuttled back to the hotel (at about 1 am I think?) and a bunch of people went to the hotel bar. We could hear them from our hotel room until 3am! haha

I don't know what time our booking will be, but I have always loved the tradition of a bride and groom send off and then you don't see them until after the honeymoon. I would do a send off at 10 when its over, and let your guests have their own after party if they want, at their expense. If you want to be a part of the afterparty then I would just stick around and let the night unfold, I wouldn't plan anything.

We are all getting in UBER's and bar hopping a little bit. We did rent a very large house, so we are still throwing the idea of having some people come back to the house for the after party.

Our reception has to end at 10pm as well. We are doing a bar crawl with who ever would like to join us.

Ours ends at 11, but we rented out the bar at the hotel until it closes at 2pm! The day will go by so fast and I wanted the opportunity to hang out and have a few drinks with everyone afterwards.

We were at a wedding over the summer and our friends went out for drinks at a big table at a bar across the street. It was really relaxing and gave a good opportunity to hang out. I highly recommend it!

Okay this is what we have in mind! Our wedding will end at 3pm and we were considering either going straight into an after party (there’s a barcade a couple doors down from our venue) or having some downtime in between and coming back together around 5 or 6. Did 1.5 hours feel like the right amount of time in between? And did you stay in one place for the after party or hop around?
