90% chance of severe storms this Saturday (wedding day). Also, I'm in tornado alley. Also, there was a severe tornado about 2 weeks ago 4 miles from my venue. It's raining as I type this. 90% chance of severe storms this Saturday (wedding day). Also, I'm in tornado alley. Also, there was a severe tornado about 2 weeks ago 4 miles from my venue. It's raining as I type this. I'm trying to stay positive but I really wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Looks like I'm going to have to move it all indoors and probably not get any outdoor pictures at this rate..and guests may not come if the weather is bad. *sigh* I haven't really given much thought to an indoor ceremony at the venue because that means setting it up, then flipping it for the reception.

    Try not to stress!! My sister was thinking of having an outdoor wedding for hers but due to the heat index and chance or rain we moved it inside. It was beautiful, and it ended up being sunny for long enough that they were able to get some pictures outside.

    Yes! I did a wedding that planned an outdoor ceremony but we had to move it inside due to torrential downpours but they did get some of the cutest shots in the rain with clear umbrellas and the lake in the background. You could totally rock the rainy day wedding pics. Get some super cute rain boots and take some fun shots and have fun with it. Good luck and congrats!

    They say if it rains on your wedding day thats good luck... that being said I have the same worries for my wedding as its all outside. I hope your day is beautiful regardless of weather but I vote clear umbrellas. This is a super cute picture from my venue of another couples wedding where it rained and its adorable. It has given me hope that even if it rains I will still get my beautiful wedding!
