Wearing wedding dress to bars?

My fiancé and I are having a small courthouse ceremony. We got lucky and our judge doesn't have a limit of people. There will be about 30 people attending. My fiancé and I are having a small courthouse ceremony. We got lucky and our judge doesn't have a limit of people. There will be about 30 people attending. We are going to take them all to a nice restaurant downtown afterward. We want to go out on the town with some of our guests after dinner (they are all about it). Would it be weird to wear my dress to multiple bars?

A few years ago I was at a bar and saw the entire bridal party come in- bridesmaids still in dresses, the bride in her gown, and all the guys still in their tuxes. I don't remember thinking it was weird at all, I just remember the bride getting SO many drunk girl compliments in the bathroom lol

I'm wearing my dress out. Why would I care if people did a double take? It's obviously a wedding dress. If I can only wear it for one day I'm going to get full use out of it. It'd be silly not to.

Since it doesn't have a train, I think it would be fine. Just do what makes you feel comfortable.

Yes girl! Rock it on your day! It’s not too big that it will be a burden!

You look beautiful and I'd definitely wear it out. It's not too much to be out in. The hi low effect gives it a more casual like look to be able to wear it out.

Nope not at all! My first wedding we went to a couple local bars and it was a Tuesday lol. They all congratulated us and bought us drinks! The dress I picked this time is going out on the Vegas strip so it's a tea length and ready to bar hop all night!

I don’t think you’d have any trouble wearing that out! It’s not like you’d be knocking people over with a ball gown 😁 pack some comfy shoes!!
