Wearing fitness bands

Mia, on October 2, 2018 at 2:10 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 30
So I have this super noticable light ring around my wrist where my skin didn't tan from wearing my fitbit.

If you wear a fitness band on the regular, are you wearing it during the ceremony? I think I may try to dress it up a bit and keep it on for mine.

I wear a Fitbit everyday. I’m taking it off for the wedding and getting a spray tan to cover up the tan line!

I wear a fitbit all the time, but there was no reason to wear it at our wedding. I have a bit of differing coloration there, but I'm dark skinned so tanning is something I don't really understand, lol. If you want to cover the line, you could just wear a bracelet.

I wear my Apple watch every day, but I definitely wouldn't wear it for my wedding. I can't imagine seeing that in photos in 40 years.

I’m also an Apple Watch person who will likely be wearing a bracelet instead

I had a pretty metallic purple dressy band (with rhinestones) on at my shower and in my "casual" non-dress outfit for engagement pictures, one person gave me crap about engagement pictures and I think a few said/asked "you'really nothe wearing that at the wedding are you?" I was thinking about a very light spray tan since someone suggested it, but I'd have to do a test run, I'm so pale. I have 2 wrist tan lines from a water park that gives you a band and my fitbit and bathing suit strap lines because spf 100 wasn't enough to keep me from burning, I now know I should have reapplied but we were only there a couple hours so I didn't think I needed to.

I personally wouldn't wear mine during the ceremony, as I feel like it would take away from the elegance of my dress and jewelry, but if it's something you wear everyday and would be ok with in your wedding pics, go for it! If you're just worried about the tan line though, there's lots of options to cover it up - self-tanner, spray tans, etc.

I would definitely not wear it for the ceremony. My job in the fall has me outside about 20 hours a week so I’ve just been wearing it on my other wrist to even out. I also plan on using jergens natural glow to even out any lines I have.

No I’m not wearing mine! I have a tan line as well but I’m not spray tanning either I’ll probably wear a bracelet or two but a tan line on my wrist isn’t a big deal for me lol I have them on my shoulders too.

A bracelet or dress watch is always an option to cover a tan line

I wear mine every day, but will not be wearing it on my wrist during the wedding! I have a FitBit One - so it's the one that comes with the clip you put on your pocket or bra or whatever. I have a bracelet I got on Amazon that I wear everyday that I pop the FitBit into for regular wear. Thankfully I don't have much discoloration/tan line difference (hooray for office jobs I guess) . I'll see if I can find a place on my dress/undergarments that's discreet enough to wear it somehow, but if not, I don't really care. This day isn't about getting my steps in or eating according to my plan. It's my day and I'll take it off if I want to lol

I've worn a fitbit everyday for years now but I will not wear it on my wedding day. I will probably wear a bracelet instead to distract from the tan line lol. Not only do I feel like it wouldn't go with the rest of my look, but I also am more than happy to take a day off from my fitness routine. I'm not going to wear it for our engagement shoot in a couple weeks either, I will wear one of my nice watches instead.

I bought a rose gold band for my FitBit for our wedding, but my husband didn't think I should wear it. The day of, my girls convinced me not to wear it. I'm so glad I didn't. The last thing I want to see in my photos is my FitBit. I had and still do have a light ring around my wrist, but it's not noticeable in my photos at all.

I wear my Apple Watch every day, I have a bit of a stripe there from summer still. I am definitely not wearing it on my wedding day. It looked so bad on my wrist when I tried on my wedding dress at the salon for my alterations, so I can imagine how much I would hate it in my wedding photos if I wore it! I would try your Fitbit on with your dress and accessories and if it doesn’t look right, don’t wear it the day of the wedding!

I have the fitbit one. I didn't wear it on my wedding day. I didn't care about steps. You will walk and move a lot.

Yes, the fitness watch tan is real! I wear mine pretty much every day, but won't wear it on my wedding day. Maybe I'll ask my fiance take his watch off too so that he doesn't get too far ahead of me in our steps challenge, ha!

I am super pale and have a noticeable line where my fitbit is. I'm going to wear my bracelets there instead of the fitbit since it really doesn't go with anything I'm going to be wearing. I'll probably put it back on though for going out on the town after the reception though. I hate not having a watch on.

During the ceremony I'll attach it to my sandal, and then after pictures I might put it back on my wrist.

I have a fit bit that I can change the band. I have the charge 2. They have some really cute ones on Amazon for cheap. Some are also pretty cheap quality but it will work for the day. Or I've also found a rose gold magnetic band that is pretty close to my skin color and not super noticeable.
