Wear veil at reception or just ceremony?

Rachael, on September 21, 2017 at 9:42 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8

I picked up my veil and love it. Any ways I just though to myself: do people wear it just for the ceremony or typically wear it the whole time? Just a random thought. Is there a norm?

I took it off at the reception. It just gets a little annoying after a while.

I mean I'm not going to wear mine at the reception. I might for my "grand entrance" but after that no it will just get in the way of eating and dancing.

I took mine off after the ceremony and replaced it with a peacock feather headpiece instead.

Mine is a flower crown veil combo so I'll detach the veil for reception ETA: I "ETA" too much but I'll also have my hair down for ceremony but since it's crazy thick and long it will get put up for reception with my crown

I have a long cathedral veil so it's staying on only for the ceremony.
