This church is in Fredericksburg, TX. We ran across it on me & FHs trip to the hill country. It's called Saint Mary's... Weddings away off but it's drop dead gorgeous on the inside and out. Super old, cute little town for those of you that don't live in Texas. Pictures of the inside are all over...

If anyone's had a wedding here I'd love to know how much you paid to get an idea!

You can't just pick a pretty church and get married there..... it doesn't work that way..

Laura, when I went through RCIA (because my Catholic parents didn't stay with Catholicism and lapsed), there were many who were converts and very few like me who weren't baptized at all. A coworker who was baptized in a Methodist church went through RCIA with me. The culmination was on an Easter service with baptism and confirmation together. So no, people baptized in other churches can go through RCIA.

My mom also did it in the 50s or 60s, before Vatican II (when the church was much stricter).

And a friend of mine, a cradle Catholic, had a beautiful Catholic ceremony with her Baptist husband. He just didn't take communion. It was a full mass.

Thanks to those of you who have tried to be very helpful I appreciate it so much. I will be deleting this post by the end of the day because I know it's kind of controversial. To those of you that think I'm just "picking a pretty church" I'm not that stupid, I know it's not that easy and I know there's more to it. Thanks again for the help, I have plenty of time to sort these kind of things out...

@Shelby don't delete your post. There's no reason to and deleting posts is considered very rude by most of us.

Shelby, call the specific church. As you can see from your responses, the only authority is the specific church.

And in all fairness, your OP clearly stated that it was a pretty church, and that's what you were looking for.

The rules from the specific church were posted on page 2 by E&M.
