We had out tasting yesterday and it was so much fun!! FH took pictures of everything, and we had a lot of leftovers to bring home. our final choices were:Passed hors d'oeuvres: Beef Empanadas Tostones with Guacamole Al pastor pork with grilled pineapple Steak Bruchetta with Chimichurri. The house salad and house made focaccia for the tableDinner will be served family style:Short ribs and Basted ChickenRoasted Brussel Sprouts and Roasted CarrotsGarlic Mashed PotatoesFH is Puerto Rican so we wanted the hors d'oeuvres to be Latino inspired flavors. Ad for our dinner, we wanted just simple comfort foods that were delicious. Since our wedding is in October we were able to get a lot of rich colored foods all locally sourced from farms nearby our venue. Added bonus, since we are doing family style, they will be cooking for about double the head count so we don't run out of food, at the end of the evening all the left overs will be packaged up by the front door for our guests to take home. No waste!!
