My husband and I got married on February 29th on a beautiful veranda in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was a little chilly, at 56 degrees, and at times it was windy; mainly when taking our after ceremony photos. The chilly weather was not an issue because our ceremony only lasted around 15 minutes and the reception was inside. Overall, everyone had a fantastic time and my husband and I had a blast. It was everything we ever wanted. I don't have any of our professional photos back yet but here are a few that friends have sent me;

Tips!!
If there is anything I have learned from this whole process it is don't sweat the small stuff! There were things that went wrong, decorations that I wanted that didn't end up looking right in the space and other things that happened the day of the wedding that threw me off. My husband told me days leading up to the wedding that if something isn't right or if I didn't get everything I wanted for the dessert bar done, no one would know what was supposed to be there but me.
Make sure you enjoy yourself! Don't let yourself get so wrapped up in the little things that you don't allow yourself to have fun!
Eat!!! This one is probably the biggest thing! You have to make sure you get throughout the day! I got so busy the morning of the wedding that my sister (my MOH) and one of my bridesmaids, had to practically throw me on the couch on the living room of my hotel suite so I would eat something while getting ready.
Prepare for at least one thing to not go as planned! No matter how hard you plan and how detailed you are, odds are, something is going to go wrong. Prepare yourself for that. When something does go wrong, don't get upset. Roll with it and everything will work out in the end.
