We all have that one person. (Or maybe a few) 🤣🙄 Any crazy stories ? Anything happen that made you want to just say “What are you thinking” To someone?!Because I’ve been there a few times already “well if you want my opinion..” NOPE I don’t, that’s why I didn’t ask.“Do this, don’t do that”“Why...

“well if you want my opinion..” NOPE I don’t, that’s why I didn’t ask.“Do this, don’t do that”“Why aren’t you doing this....”“Just change it”“I know what I’m talking about”

All these things have been said to me and I’ve brushed it off but today’s not the day lol no more letting things slide - this bride is putting her foot down!!

Lmao, this is perfect because I just had an incident I posted about 2 days ago with a wedding guest. They asked 4 times if their child could come to our Vegas wedding despite the invite stating this is an adult affair. We made an exception 4 times and said yes she could come. And then she text my FH screenshot of our convo and said if my daughter isn't invited, we aren't either. Its rude she even asked if her daughter could come in the first place and then ask 4 times and then start some drama. Still trying to get over it....😝😂😁😩

    I needed this meme!!!!

My cousin made a Facebook status saying something about “I thought family means everything but I guess not” immediately after I posted my bridal party and then texted me saying “oh ok” because her daughter wasn’t in my wedding party (I’m having zero flower girls/ring bearers because I don’t want kids at my wedding) and when she finds out her kids aren’t invited she probably won’t come 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Best Man just assumed he had a plus one, and it was his dad. (We caved on that one, as DH is quite close to him.) THEN, CLOSE TO THE WEDDING, BM starts asking if he can bring his NEW girlfriend to... rehearsal dinner. And also to the wedding. Basically, BM wanted an extra plus one for someone we had never met, AND wanted to bring her to an even we limited to *spouses* only due to SPACE (IL's apartment, which BM knew very well, and exactly how many people it can hold). DH eventually just said, "man, I really don't need this THE DAY OF THE REHEARSAL DINNER, I AM A LITTLE STRESSED OUT RIGHT NOW."

My bridesman also developed a girlfriend AFTER the invitations went out. ASKED ME IN FRONT OF HER if she was invited (at the time, I didn't even realize she was his girlfriend, that's how out of the blue she was), and then proceeded to pressure me about it for weeks. Including the week of the wedding. Knowing I was dealing with a super dramatic, petty family issue. Apparently GF is *still* ticked at me, but, again, I still don't KNOW her. I've seen her... 3 times? Maybe 4? And at least one of those her only involvement was making out with him. At one I managed to speak to her for a tiny bit, but mostly learned nothing about her. When he said she was upset AFTER, I said it was rude to try to be invited to a wedding where you don't know anyone, especially given how expensive the dang things are.

And then there was my mother. Who all but ignored the entire thing for five months, then suddenly developed an interest in May, got upset the BP didn't need her help planning the shower, offered to buy a cake 60 miles away and bring it up for the wedding (...in August), gave me lingerie at a co-ed wedding shower (...I had specifically told her NOT to buy me any clothing items and refused to give her my sizing to protect against it), wouldn't let me speak to my ILs alone at the wedding shower, apparently made an absolute fool of herself there, as well (though I thought she behaved fairly well given her track record, which says a whole lot about her) - to the point where my friends felt sorry for me - and then.... and then, got the invitation, got upset her name wasn't on it (I refer you to the second sentence in this paragraph), and declined to come. She also made the rest of her family not come to punish me for this. She has not called/emailed/texted/written/communicated in anyway since. (I'm cool with that. I know for a fact she's waiting for me to call crying. I will not.)

    So, yeah, there's always someone(s).

My "person" will be the better one out of the comments i'm sure but my MIL was our person. She is very religious, we are not and she knows this. This was both our second wedding so we ditched pretty much every wedding tradition to the curb and did our wedding, our way. She hated it and tried so hard to push for inviting her friends, getting married in her church, using her preacher, toasts, even the wedding cake which we were not having. We won out on everything but the cake. The woman showed up to the wedding with a wedding cake! We staged a cake cutting picture to make her happy then let her serve the cake to any guests that wanted it.
