A few days ago I posted about the place cards if they should be handwritten or printed. I wasn't feeling them handwritten - I really, really tried, but I know myself it would have irked me indefinitely.
So today I went onto Minted & did 80 place cards (couples are grouped together on the place cards because of they way they RSVP, I asked the DOC - who is w/ the revenue & she said that the RSVP is quite normal - where they say 1x chicken, 1x seafood but you don't know which entrée is who's, and she said to combine the names as it is easier on the servers) I had no problem as it was a bit easier on my wallet too hehe.
Anyway, after making the place cards (found ones that I like, that was affordable & matched our theme), coordinating accessories came up & one of the coordinated accessories were table numbers. We have table numbers & they are you know table numbers - nothing super special. We really wanted to name our tables after certain restaurants, bars & stores in our neighborhood - but that fell by the wayside, because we realized it would be too confusing for people. Well the coordinating table numbers allowed you to do both name the table (above arch) and have a very prominent number on it. So I named all the tables after our favorite restaurants and they have a big ol' number so people who aren't familiar with our area won't be too confused. Plus the back of the table number allowed us to include a photo so we included our favorite from the engagement shot.
I am so pumped about the new stuff! I love when things fall together. I am just going to give away my previous table numbers (they are opened).
It was a $120 upgrade, which I wasn't too keen on spending at first, but oh well. And Minted will have delivered by the first week of October.
Has anyone else changed their minds on something after it was purchased?
