So I basically knew exactly when the proposal was happening. We talked about it a lot together and I knew when he was getting the ring and that he couldn’t hold on to it for long because he was so excited. I just don’t wanna look back and regret not being surprised. Did anyone else have this?

Total surprise. He told w/in the next year and proposed less then a month later. Even told me I was free to leave if he didn't propose lol.

Hubby and I talked about marriage for a little while, and we designed my engagement ring together. Then, I overheard him tell my mom when he was going to propose, when he was asking her for her blessing. Oops. So I actually knew, to the day, when he was going to propose. That being said, he still managed to surprise me by proposing a couple hours earlier than I was expecting.

My fiancé and I talked about marriage a lot but he didn’t seem ready to get engaged. Then on our 3 year anniversary he proposed to me while we were in Maine!! It was amazing

For me, it was a total surprise. I was dealing with a lot of family drama, and he was always my rescuer. One depressing night, I had finally moved out of my parents' place, and I met up with my boyfriend. He was waiting for me, down on his knees. He proposed to me right then and there, and that depressing night marked the sparked many good days to come .
