I’m not a fashionista by any means (scrubs during day and pjs/yoga pants at night), so what does one wear to a casual wedding party/engagement party in January? We got engaged in October and this party is more of a get to know families and close friends (hence engagement/wedding). What does one wear? Pants? Skirt? Dress? Specific color? I’m so out of my element!

    Anything goes! You can wear whatever color you want. I’m looking at Amazon & I just put rehearsal dinner dresses for bride. So many options! There’s also Etsy.

    Sunday Best that you wear to Christmas Mass or Easter dinner or something similar. A nice casual dress from Target or a blouse and dressy pants.

    You can really wear whatever style you want! Many brides wear a 'Sunday's Best' dress to their showers/parties, but you can also go casual with a nice top/sweater, dressy jeans and booties! It really comes down to how formal you want your party to be, but it's up to you!

    I suggest wearing something a little dressier than what you normally wear, but be comfortable at the same time! For our engagement party, I'm wearing the same dress I wore for our engagement photos, but in a different color and some nude block heels. For our couple's shower, I'm going more casual with black skinny jeans, booties, and a nice top/sweater!
