I'm sure I'm not the only person in this particular situation, so I'm wondering if anyone else has re-booked flights for their honeymoon. Our resort didn't cancel, so we've already booked the honeymoon itself, but the airline cancelled our flights from the 1st date and issued a refund. The wedding...

The wedding isn't until 2/14/21, and we're supposed to fly to Miami 2/15. Anyone have a suggestion on how long to wait before booking the flights?

No, I would lose 2 days if we drove 😔 I'm going to wait until end of December to order tickets for flights.

Lol normally I am, too, but I'm hearing horror stories about airlines no longer being flexible as far as refunds or schedule changes, and I don't want to risk getting stuck in a fight over it! I'm hoping I can still get a good deal in December, about 8 weeks in advance 😉

Honestly, you should be fine with domestic flights. I know for my company the demand for flying is increasing every day. In fact, we are taking 161 planes out of storage by the end of next month!! My FH and I are taking our honeymoon cruise the second week of January out of Miami and we are going to buy tickets thinking it will be too full to standby! Things are looking up!!
