Waiting on 50% of rsvps ...

I'm in a similar boat. My deadline is also on Sunday, and I'm still waiting on about 60 guests, which is 35 percent of our total list, give-or-take. That doesn't seem to be super out of the ordinary for other brides I've seen on other threads, but it's still really frustrating...and a little bit insulting.

I also did online RSVPs. We haven't had any trouble with the older, tech-deficient crowd. It's young friends that are giving us trouble! We didn't get any RSVPs yesterday and only one family responded the day before, so I'm not holding out much hope for a big flood over the weekend. I guess I'll be private messaging a lot of folks on Facebook next week.

Hi! I have the same problem as both of you. Our deadline is also Sunday and less than 50% have RSVP'd so far. Only three of them are my friends/family and their +1's (and all of them coming from OOT/out of the country). Everyone else is my FH's family and friends, all of them from this city or less than 1 hr drive away from here.

What will you do if they don't RSVP by Sunday? Just like CCM I feel a bit insulted. I wouldn't mind if they decline the invitation, but this feels like they don't care one way or the other. Do I really need to contact them and ask them? They clearly don't care about our wedding anyways

There are a few folks we haven't heard from who are members of the bridal party. They're obviously coming, and I'm guessing they just assume I know...but I'd still like to know if they are bringing guests!

There are a couple others who have told my mom that they plan to be there, and when they talk to her, she always hints they should still RSVP on our website, but it seems like they aren't listening to her.

I'm still going to contact everyone who hasn't responded because obviously there are some people who just assume I know. I wouldn't want to leave them off the seating chart and give the caterers a lower number and have them show up anyway.

My date was yesterday. I have only received 10 out of 55. I am waiting 1 week from the due date to start calling.

Our bridal party hasn't RSVP'd either, except for one BM and two GM (both GM did it by text haha). We messaged all of them asking to at least send an RSVP for their guests, but they still haven't.

Do people actually show up to weddings if they didn't RSVP?

My deadline is today.... I just may need to steal your meme to get my point across. I made it so easy - I don't understand why they can't check "yes" or "no" and drop it in the mail.

@VC thanks I made it just for the post! Haha I love memes. Like AlyshaDanielle I think I am also gonna wait a few days after the date to start chasing people down. I will probably start on thurs or Friday just because I don't wanna deal with it over the weekend!

Small guest list...I only had to chase about 5 people down, and that's because a few got lost in the mail.

I feel your anxiety, I didn't have much problems with RSVP's. If I were in your situation I'd be calling and emailing those folks. If after your mental deadline for the late replies has passed, I would be marking them down as not coming.

My date was yesterday and I was missing 60 of the 230 I invited. I've since gotten that down to 40, but 95% of what's left is FH's family and friends who I don't know.

A fucking Men. Our cut off is March 31st (so we still have some time), but invites have been out for a little bit (mailed on feb 14)....I have received some back but others nothing. Of course the ones I have received back I pretty much knew about it's the people that I don't know about. I don't get it - are they still deciding if they want to come...are they trying to figure things out? We sent out save the dates to everyone so they knew about it and I would think by the time they got the invites probably had some clue as it if they could come or not. JUST TELL ME! It's been 4 days since we rec'd even 1, which freaks me out. Our cut off date is a Tuesday. I'm hoping I get a decent amount because that Saturday we are meeting with out décor people to give them the rest of the money and know how many of everything we need. I will start tracking people down Tuesday after I get the mail. I don't care if more show up wed/thurs. I will just blame it on needing answers for Saturday.

ETA: whew mail came today and we rec'd 3 - I feel better that some came haha

I had about 20 people to chase down. I was able to get all but 5 yesterday but the 5 are Fhs cousins and they told me this weekend they would let me know and are working on it.

I told them i needed to know by 3/18. Hopefully those will get back to me ASAP!
