Vow's - anyone have any examples they can share?

FH and I need to start working on our vow's... we don't want to completely write our own vows and we don't want to just follow total tradition so are planning on working together to write what works for us but are having a hard time getting started! Anybody have any examples to get us started?...

    So I was thinking we would just say something to one another about how we feel and how much we love one another before the minster does the vows. Is that strange?
