Vow renewal / reception?

Hi,

My fiancé and I are getting married at Disney World this October 16th. We are only inviting about 20 family members down to Florida and are doing a vow renewal / reception back home on October 28th for all of our friends and family that were not invited to Florida.

I am looking for some advice on how to word our invitations for the vow renewal back home.. Should we put "vow renewal" "wedding celebration" etc...?? Im just worried if I put vow renewal instead of something to do with an actual wedding our family and friends will feel like they were left out of the experience.

Agree with above. Don't do any kind of ceremony reenactment, just throw a party

Celebration of marriage. No additional ceremony is necessary, imo.

"Celebration of Marriage" and I would honestly skip the vow renewal. That's something that's usually done after a milestone anniversary and might make your guests feel slighted because they weren't good enough to be invited to the real wedding.

Celebration of marriage sounds good. October 16 - October 28 is a short period of time before renewing ones vows.

It wouldn't be a renewal after less than a month. I vote celebration of marriage.

Agreed with above. We're having a private ceremony as well, and a reception a couple weeks later. Our invitations will say " Celebration of Marriage" and those few invited to the ceremony (12 people) will have an added card in their invitation with ceremony information.
