Vistaprint for Invites/Save the Dates?

Kelsey, on October 6, 2017 at 1:36 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 47

Hi there! Has anyone used vistaprint to print their invites/save the dates? I was thinking of buying PDFs from Etsy, but was curious about the process. Do they cut for you? What about printing addresses on the envelopes (return address on the flap) ? Any tips would help--Thanks!

I used vista print for save the dates and shower invites they turned out really nice they all come pre cut and you just have to mail them off. I addressed them myself though so I am not sure how the printing the address part of it goes

Ivve used them for my save the date so far.. and im doing the wedding invitations with them too. They were very helpful and super nice

I love working with them. You could also order a small amount first to see if you like them, before placing the big order

Bought both STDs (postcard back and front design) and invitations/response cards from the same Etsy store. Used VP for printing the STDs. They were fine but I wanted a shimmery look to them not "glossy" so for the invites I bought my own metallic cardstock and went to a FedEx office to get them printed and they were gorgeous! Since my STD was a postcard I didn't need envelopes but they do have options for printing addresses I believe.

I'm using them for the invites and thank you cards. From what I can tell they don't print the addresses but I'm either going to make FH do that (his handwriting is better) or use my computer.

Also, I'm waiting for the black friday sale because I hear it's 1/2 off.

VistaPrint is awesome! Unless you need expedited shipping, the cheapest shipping should be fine - for invitations and thank you notes I still got them within a week of ordering. Also, I'm always getting a coupon code for 20% off - it's either ENJOY20 or SAVE20.

I used VistaPrint for Invitation, they turned out great and I had a coupon code for 50% off. I also used Zazzle.com for my STD's. Those were also great, inexpensive and I was able to order free samples before making my decision.

I will be ordering my save the dates from vistaprint this weekend. I'm ordering a postcard design so all I need to do is put on a stamp and address.

I'm doing Vistaprint for the save the dates, invites, rsvp cards, rsvp envelopes, information cards, and menus. Minted does recipient address printing for free. For 175 envelopes (both invites and save the dates) it will be about $60. I'm waiting until Cyber Monday to place the Vistaprint order (50-60% off).

I got my save the dates from vista print. They were smaller than I thought, but I'm very happy with the quality.

ETA: I weighed one and it only need a regular forever stamp which I'm happy about.

I just ordered our STDs from Vistaprint yesterday! Can't wait for them to come in. I recommend checking their actual upload dimensions if you are uploading your own. They are slightly different than the listed 5x7, 4x5.5, etc. They automatically applied a 25% off (code VPDEALS) but I actually saved a little more with a 20% off and free shipping (code FIRSTORDER).

There was an add-on for address printing, but I have done it before in Word and just printed them at home. It's pretty easy to do.

    ETA: grammar

We used vistaprint for STDs! They turned out amazing and we love them! They were pre cut and we paid to address the envelopes with the return address. We hand address the rest. Everyone commented how beautiful they were!

We used Vistaprint for both STDs and invites/RSVP cards. We managed to hit up 50% off sales when we purchased both so we got great deals. FH dabbles in graphic design so he designed the images. Only advice is order them well a head of time, because sometimes you get them in the mail and the edges are off. They will send you free new ones, it just takes extra time if that happens.

Love Vistaprint! Plus they always have a sale. I've been using them for save the dates, invitation, signage/posters, address labels, etc.

For your envelopes, I believe there is an option to put address on the flap but it's more costly... We just went with labels to stick on.

Vistaprint is awesome and so is Zazzle (where I got my invites)! There is another website called Basic Invite that I was going to go through because they will address the envelopes for free for you but I ended up finding an invite on Zazzle that I liked more.
