Videography? Yay or Nay?

How does everyone feel about Videography? Is it worth it for the money you pay? Or are pictures enough to document the day.

I would definitely recommend it fits in your budget. If you can find a decent price or have a connection that can give you a discount, totally go for it.

I guess I'm the only person in the world that does not want a videographer! 🤷🏾‍♀️

Is $1,000 plus mileage fees expensive for four hours of coverage?

A good one can get pricey, and we did hire one. Hoping he does a good job Bc there are some moments we have to get on video. I plan to sing to FH at the wedding, Etta James at last, and I can actually sing so it wb something we’d wanna see over and over lol. Also, our daughter is autistic, and VERY difficult to photograph. I’m getting anxiety just thinking about how the photo shoot is gonna go. At least we will have her on video if we can’t get any good pics. Also, can really catch reactions etc at ceremony and we can relive all the fun stuff we will do. I don’t think it’s necessary, but nice to have

We decided against it mostly because I am an awkward person enough and didn't want 4 cameras on me at all times. I don't think it's something we'd continue to watch and didn't want to spend the money. Whereas I will forever have pictures up from our wedding day in our home. People like them to capture everything they say they forget about the day but really there are still pictures to capture those moments. If you forget everything about your wedding day, you probably drank too much, just sayin.

Not worth it for me. I would rarely ever watch it.
