Help! My fiance and I are going back and forth on whether to hire a videographer. Our Photographer does not include or have such a package. I am actually against the videography but he is interested in. Have any of you hired a videographer?

I feel like this is a very personal decision and each person (and couple!) is going to feel differently about whether a videographer is worth hiring.
For me, it’s a necessity! I strongly agree with all the reasons in this WeddingWire article (The 5 Reasons You MUST Hire a Videographer For Your Wedding), especially number three! I want to be able to enjoy and see amy entire wedding, especially moments where I couldn’t be there because I was getting my photos taken or with other guests. Also, highlight videos always give me goosebumps and I would love to have something like this of my own wedding!
Do you mind me asking why you don’t want to hire one?

I was definitely having that same mental battle in my head... my brother has done wedding videos before, and he decided to go with him, which means sacrificing him being in the wedding but he was more than happy to help! If you want to DM me I can show you what he’s done and we can discuss pricing he is pretty good and very inexpensive!
