Videographer! Help!

Just a heads up— most music needs to be licensed if you’re using it for your video. Do you know if they’re getting it licensed? If so, they probably should give you a catalog of songs to look through or you may run into the problem of choosing a song they can’t get the license for.

Yep - that is already taken care of with them. Basically I am supposed to come up with a list of 20ish songs and they guarantee that they will be able to get four from that list. So i am not as concerned about not being able to use the song...I just don't know where to start when looking lol.

Mmmm totally would depend on your vibe/personalities and your wedding’s vibe as well. My videographers chose our songs based on our video and I ended up loving it!

YAY I think you will be really happy with that decision! We almost didn't hire a videographer, and then 6 weeks before the wedding I freaked out and decided to hire one. I know I would've regretted it SO MUCH if we hadn't done that! I am so grateful for our video and so glad I changed my mind at the last minute. I hope you will be too

Our videographer just used some non-copywrited music for our Highlight reel but we had discussed previously (before we knew that) that we wanted to use Make You Mine by High Valley. It's romantic, but upbeat and fun.
