Vera Wang Dress - Looking for Rec's on where to get it cleaned/preserved

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to bring my wedding gown in the New England/New York area to get it cleaned and preserved?

I have the Vera Wang "Ethel" gown - silk satin with a tulle bottom. The bustle was damaged at the reception and there's dirt on the bottom, plus who knows what else.

Vera Wang recommended a place in NYC that will cover $1000 to clean and preserve it!

Any New York/New England brides have recommendations on where to send my wedding dress? I'd like to also preserve it.

Hi Cara! As long as you find a business with great reviews that specialized in wedding gown cleaning and preservation you should be set. This vendor is in Orange, CT but they have a ton of great reviews:

Some business that do gown preservation will list themselves under the "Dress & Attire" or "Unique Services" category, so make sure to look through the vendor search!

I used Jeeves on the UES. They were about three weeks late getting my dress back to me (from what they originally told me), and it was pretty expensive ($750 for cleaning and preservation with a $100 off coupon), but they did not damage or ruin my dress, it was really clean when they were done (also had a ton of dirt on the bottom), and it was boxed very nicely and carefully, and they even gave me archivist gloves for handling my dress in the future.
