Venue Tours with out full planning commitment

My fiance and I have two locations in mind for our wedding. CA & MEX, we desperately need someone to pull a list of venues and tour them with us in Monterey, CA. If we find the right venue, we will book and hire the planner full-time, however, I am not finding anyone who is willing to do this for us. Please note, we are offering to pay for the services of the day of venue hunting. Any tips/help here? Very lost. Thanks!

    I don’t think a planner is going to do this without signing a contract with you for their services. If they take time to look for and tour venues with you, that’s time away from their contract clients who are paying them thousands of dollars. You might be able to find someone up and coming to agree to this but even that would be hard I think.

    I live in Monterey and got married in Carmel. We had a full service planner and she required a 50 percent deposit before she began any work for us. I don’t know of anyone that would do things differently except for someone inexperienced.
