Venue Tours - What Do We Wear?

I'm not sure if this is a silly question, but my search turned up some mixed opinions on what we should wear to a venue tour; some sites said casual/comfortable, others said dress as though you're going to work, and another that you should dress to reflect the type of wedding you'd like to have...

I'm not sure if this is a silly question, but my search turned up some mixed opinions on what we should wear to a venue tour; some sites said casual/comfortable, others said dress as though you're going to work, and another that you should dress to reflect the type of wedding you'd like to have (we're hoping for a beach ceremony with an indoor reception). We have to run a bunch of errands prior to the appointment, I'm just not sure if we should bother to bring a change of clothes. What do you all think?

    I never heard of any of this before. I wore some yoga pants to one and work clothes to some. This really doesnt matter at all.

    FH and I were just driving around to some venues and ended up having our first official tour/info session! I see now that I was completely overthinking it (we're in shorts and flip-flops, lol). I'm so happy to get the first one out of the way... and we LOVE it!! That was so much fun! Thanks again Smiley smile

    I wore nice, casual clothes. Nothing fancy. I guess I would equate it to "what you would wear to meet his/her parents for the first time."

    I also dressed nicer (on weekends I wear jeans and t-shirts, wedges). I didn't want to be talked down at because I look really young and you can't pull FH out of combat boots and graphic shirts. It was office attire, not wedding-esque wear.
