How much are you paying pp? I just want to know I’m getting a decent price. My wedding will be in the winter on a weekday for $144 pp everything included. I love the venue so much. We will have between 75-90 guests.

To put in perspective. Catering is going to run us about $5,000 itself for the main meal, appetizers and we are also doing a late night snack. It might be a bit more than 5,000 too. Probably around 6,000. For beverages the keg of spotted cow is $250; then bud light and miller light are $230 each. But if we don't use the keg of miller we don't get charged for it. The wine my FFIL is paying for and it's per glass but he is going to put a cap on it (he hasn't decided how much yet). My guess is just for food and drinks it will be around $8,000 altogether.

It seems like there’s a whole variation between the prices. It seems like NJ has a higher pp average.

In So Cal at a country club-type venue, for a sit-down filet and chicken duet plate and five hours of premium open bar, etc., including tax and service charge, we were just under $180 pp for a Saturday night.

I'm thinking ours will end up around $60-70 pp in all. It'll depend on the final guest count, whether we do heavy apps or a buffet dinner.

I'm leaning towards heavy apps which would allow us to cover at least 1-2 drink pp also. Our venue has a lot of really great app options that would be filling. Expecting around 86 guests in end (including us, DOC, photogs & DJ for food count), but would probably plan for 8 different apps (2 meat, 2 seafood, 2 veg, 2 other) and portions for up to 90 guests each.

My venue in southeast Michigan is turning out to be around $105 per person for a 3 course plated meal, the venue, the bar, a late night snack, and cocktail hour.

Our venue's starting price is $95 per person, with all our upgrades we are looking at $151 per person. They are nearly all-inclusive. We are in Las Vegas.

My venue is $4000. We get it for the entire weekend, They have beautiful redwood tables and chairs. They will set them up and take them down. They will also allow us and any guests to camp there on the wedding night. Just the venue is $32 per person. Our entire wedding cost including everything is $7075. If you break it down per person its $57. I am in California, having a Saturday wedding on 9/16/2020.

My reception will be around Pittsburgh, PA area... 130 head count... With food (2 entrees, buffet style), open bar, tables, linen, dish ware, venue, set up and break down fees, waiters, cake cutting fee, security, and sales tax I’m looking at $50/pp. That is also including bringing an outside caterer and paying a fee PP to the venue to do so. All I have left is decor, photos and music which luckily is all being done by friends for the low low! Since it’s at a campground setting with cabins, I’m also able to lodge everyone over night for only $30/pp, which also includes a swim pass for the pool and use of all campground fun facilities for the evening.

That sounds in the right ballpark. People will give different numbers but “all inclusive” doesn’t mean the same thing at each venue. There’s also different quality of menu, type of service, type of alcohol, etc.

We’re paying about 90/person for the reception venue which include facility fee and food only, NOT including drinks. We haven’t decided on open bar or limited menu bar. Once we add in alcohol, the cost of the ceremony venue, and shuttle transportation between ceremony and reception, we’ll be around around 180-200 PP. I knew having ceremony and reception at different venues would be pricier but my FH loved the ceremony venue so much. If you’re doing both ceremony and reception at that PP cost, I’d say it’s about average unless you happen to be in a LCOL area.

We are having a bargain wedding in a local upscale restaurant. We only have about 35 guests and our cost is $39 for a plated 3 course dinner. We are having cake and cupcakes for our dessert. Wine pairings can be added for $13 per person for those that choose wine. We are paying for beer and a specialty drink by consumption. I don’t feel this is unreasonable.

We are getting married Sunday 10/4/20 in albuquerque NM. We paid $1000 for the venue which includes set up and tear down for ceremony and reception, a day of coordinator, Linens, china, silverware, Champaign for the toast (we asked them to us it in mimosas and serve it that way), center pieces we can use (opted not to) and we have a $5000 minimum for food and $350 for alcohol (any other day is $8500 food and $1000 alcohol. In addition we have to pay a 23% service fee and tax. We are expecting 150-175 guest and expect to spend around $6800 on food. We are having 2 meat carving stations with rolls, omelette station, French toast bar, 2 salads, mashpotato bar, build your own fruit salad and chips, salsa, guacamole and queso.

I’m paying 2250 for a venue at The Spring Estates Venue for 100 people. Besides a beautiful outside ceremony area by a bridge and garden, they have a reception hall already beautiful so I doesn’t need much decor, nothing else is included. They don’t charge for outside vendors and I get the venue for 8 hours. It’s nice though.
