My wedding coordinator told me he needs my head count two weeks before. That seemed "early" to me. Is this the norm? I was thinking 4-5 days would be sufficient. I was going to mail invites around July 10th and ask to have them back September 1st. Too soon to mail the invites? Too late? I figure I...

My venue is requesting 2 weeks prior as well. They said i can go up after that but not down. And 72hrs is the absolute final head count with no changes being allowed

Two weeks is normal. I'm sending mine July 20th(ish) and the RSVP is August 20th

Our venue needs the headcount 2-3 weeks before. We put our rsvp date as a month before so that we have a week to collect strays.

That's normal. Mine only requires 10 days but anywhere from 10 days to 2 weeks is a normal time frame.
