Venue finding hardships

Mady, on March 21, 2020 at 12:58 PM Posted in California Planning 0 9
Hello, I live in Long Beach California. I'm having a hard time finding a venue that either lets me bring my own food or is Under $7000. My fiancee and I would love to have our wedding outdoors and our wedding date is in September. Do you have any tips or ideas for me on where I should go?

I live in Los Angeles. I am not sure how far you want to go but there’s a community center in brea that does weddings that has outdoor and indoor spaces all in one that’s really cheap to rent and it’s really pretty.

They let you have your own catering too.

What is the guest list size? What kind of outdoor vibe do you want? Are you willing to travel outside of Long Beach?

    Guest size: 100
    Outdoor vibes: Nature/Hreen grass/Trees
Traveling outside of Long Beach: Yes, that's completely fine

The Heritage Museum of Orange County in Santa Ana (under 7k, but must use their required caterer; very reasonable in price)

Blue Barn Lavender Farm in Temecula area

    Reptacular Ranch in Sylmar

    Luna Bella Ranch in Temecula

    Abbott Manor in Temecula

Luna Bella Ranch is a great option, but I do know that they are a near-all-inclusive venue with their own caterer.

The Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach sounds like it might be a good fit. It’s $5,500 with a chunk of it being tax deductible. I believe they are okay with you bringing in your own caterer, but you’d have to double check their policy on that. https://www.encenter.org/facility-rental/green-wedding/
Fig Earth Supply in LA is a plant nursery that allows weddings. https://www.figearthsupply.com/rental
OC Plantenders is another plant nursery that allows weddings.https://plantenders.com/the-greenhouse

Alternatively, look into public parks that allow weddings. Here’s some examples:http://www.ocparks.com/rnp/weddings/receptions

Hi!!!! my bff got married Aug of 2018 and her venue was Quail Haven Farm. ITS BEAUTIFUL! its outdoors, garden setting, theres plenty of parking for guests. She brought her own vendors. They provide the chairs and tables. And i believe to rent the space it was around 5,000. theres twinkle lights everywhere at night. Please look it up!! it was so beautiful. Its in Vista

Reptacular Ranch I’ve heard is great and super flexible with catering/vendors!
