Venue Finally Booked!

After touring different venues, I finally decided. I am getting more excited now that we actually have a date. So many things are running through my head, not sure where to start. Not sure if I will be doing anything too early, but don't want to procrastinate. WHAT SHOULD I BE FOCUSING ON NOW?...

After touring different venues, I finally decided. I am getting more excited now that we actually have a date. So many things are running through my head, not sure where to start.     If your city is like my city, hair/makeup tends to book quickly. I also agree with a photographer should be next up.

    Yes!! booking the venue is the cornerstone. next i would start looking at photographers and officiants

    Congratulations! It’s definitely not too early I booked my photographer and dj in December of 2019 for my January 2022 wedding. If you find someone you love book them before someone else does.

    YAAAY Another August wedding!! I did book a DJ today, I have a meeting with a photographer this weekend. So I think I am in the right track...

    I don't think it is ever too early to plan especially when vendors book 1-2 years in advance. I think that once your venue has been picked and booked, if you haven't already taken care of food and drinks, cake with your venue I would start looking into that to make sure they can work with your venue. If your venue does take care of it or it is part of it (like ours is) I would move down the list of vendors and begin booking those. For us it was photo, after our venue was booked we booked our photographer.
