VENT Wasted So Much Money For A Limo....

We are not using a limo. FH has an old car and he wants to use it. Its gonna save us money and he will be happy to drive it

We just made two limo reservations: One for the morning to get everyone to the venue and everything and then a second one at the end of the night to take us to the hotel. The evening pick up costs much less because its not a 3 hour block of time, just a pick up/drop off.

I hope that other brides learn from your experience. It's standard, but it does suck, and a lot of people don't think it through when they choose their package.

I rented a trolley for the same price as a limo- and it seats 35 people- so all of my bridal party plus their guests will fit in.

I say do your research but the time rule is pretty standard.

If you want a limo, you have to be VERY careful. I had my fiance do all the details for that. He verified the time for pick up, drop off and the works. We are doing a limo. The deal he got was for a limo to pick up the guys from the parking lot of the reception hall to the church, drive us around from the wedding to the reception and a getaway car (which came out to be like $1000). He was very picky because we noticed a lot of places charges per miles, gas, or some strange hidden fee. He read through everything and this came to be the cheapest out of all of them.

But if the limo company is not telling you info, I would try to get out of it ASAP because those are warning signs of things to come.

I talked to FH yesterday and since we paid it we're going to use it till we have it and i'm waiting to hear from this other car company so that we can get a car for the hour if not we're going to go with the limo cab. we decided that we're not going to do the bus for the guest cause it would cost us so much so everyone as to do a cab from the recepition or to it. that's all we can do, but in NY the cabs are lincoln town cars not the yellow ones. they are only in manhattan, so the cabs are nice

I'm sorry this happened to you 8(...I was planing onloking into that but now my brother seems like a good ride for me..He has a cadillac cts..i just tip him for the favor 8P. I hope you do manage to find a way to enjoy the limo.
