Vendors lack of communication

I don’t think you’re tripping because it’s legit an annoyance and concern when vendors aren’t that responsive after multiple times of reaching out. And you’ve tried reaching out to him thru all platforms right? Such as calling. Texting. Emailing. Etc whatever other social media he has?

No he should have given you information and be more communicative for sure. My engagement shoot we had the spots picked out at least like 2 weeks in advance and our photographer made all the arrangements after I gave her some tips on what/places I’d like.

Since you’ve tried to contact him without response, I’d send him a final text and email, and ask that he confirm you are still going forward. You could say that if you don’t here from him by X date you’ll assume he’s decided to cancel your contract and ask when he anticipates refunding your money. I’ve heard photographers may be difficult to get in touch with but you don’t need to chase a vendor you’re paying good $$ to.
