Vendors and final guest count.

My venue has vendor meals so they're a "separate" count.

I gave our venue a breakdown which included adults, kids, and vendors all as separate numbers. They were all priced differently so we wanted them itemized separately.

When we meet with my venue and the caterer, we discussed about the final headcount. I don't remember anything separate like this. Nothing in the contract mentions it, I write everything down. This is one things that I missed : ( ! Thanks for responding so fast ladies. I'll follow up with my venue tomorrow, just to make sure. I'm surprised my caterer responded on a Sunday, very impressed.

We have one vendor who requested they not be included and another requested they did. It doesn't hurt to ask them.

NO, it definitely won't hurt to ask. She said it was for food amount purposes, which I understand. I included both the venue and the caterer in my email also, just so they both have it and can respond if they need too.

We asked our caterer this & unfortunately we have to count our vendors as regular guests. I have spoke to other brides who specifically get discounts for their vendors on meals.

Yes, I missed that too. Have to call my vendor asap!!

Got a update. My venue needed a headcount, which was used for the bar. So, vendors didn't need to be included with that. I'm glad I got it clarified. Caterer 95 with vendors, venue 92 without. Now, to final balances since the quote was lower.
