Vendor timeline.

Hello. My wedding is not until 2024. I obviously want to plan everything ASAP lol. I have a venue I was just wondering is it ever too early to hire vendors? What was your wedding planning timeline?

You can always reach out to them. If it's too early for them, they'll tell you and tell you when to check back. My cake vendor did this. She told me she only books about 6-8 months out and to check back in January, and then she did our consultation/tasting in april. Most other vendors were easy to book far in advance.

Start looking now because postponed weddings are grabbing available dates. Also keep in mind peak vs non peak pricing.

Never too early to reach out and if they say it’s too early to book out they’ll at least let you know when you can reach out again

We originally had a 2 year engagement! Turned into 3 because of the pandoramie 😜 so I just pressed pause on the planning when we postponed. 2 years for me was perrrrfect!!! I got venue, caterer, and dress straight away after getting engaged because I knew this mattered so much especially with budgeting. Then photographer a few months later so I would have first pick for my date. 😊 I didn't worry about hair&MUA until the following year or the DJ. It worked out really well for me so I could slowly plan and enjoy the process rather than stressing out. I was able to take it easy on planning when work was crazy and vice versa. I hope you enjoy your planning! ❤️

I have 188 days left to get the other 2 paid off and last and final payment to our venue the day that we get married. I started in 2020 had a few setup backs. Make sure you asked them if you can make payments and look and compare prices before you commit to a contract. But not too put too many on you. You have time take care of your most big one first. If you are getting some financial help with your wedding day
