This is the second time posting about this but I wanted to again share some further insight on vendor reviews on wedding wire (and the knot) as we have learned a lesson in how clients are treated in all aspects. My review has been posted via WW, but they made it the LAST REVIEW on the review section of a vendors page as it was not a good review. What is the point of reviewing vendors if recent reviews get posted with the reviews dated back to 2017? I would not trust WW or The Knot to be transparent with brides and grooms to be. To further express my frustration...my husband wrote a review on The Knot on our behalf, and they told him that he was not allowed to post about our wedding as he was not the client. That is news to me. Guess a wedding is only for one person these days. I am shocked and appalled by how a review with adequate proof just gets tossed away. Unfortunately, the action of one, and the action of both websites moderators will make me second guess any vendor from here on out.

    That’s why I️ dig And dig. I️ would even do a google review and yelp if they have it. Just so people are warned.

    So in my experience WW always sorts the reviews by the highest rated. There’s no easy way to re-sort on the app, but on the website I always sort it by the newest ratings. That way the most recent reviews are the one I see first

    When I was looking for vendors, I skipped the ones at the top of the list or “recommended “ as they are vendors who paid to be on those sites. Once clicking on the vendor, I looked to see if they’d been reviewed in the last few months or most recently. If they had no reviews in 6-9 months I skipped even those with years and years of reviews.

    Vendor storefronts have the option to filter reviews based on wedding date and rating (we are still working on adding this feature to our app). Please be assured that your review will always count towards the vendor's average review, regardless of the location on the vendor's storefront.
