Vendor response

If there's one thing I've learned since beginning the wedding planning process, it's that wedding vendors can be extremely unpredictable! I found some vendors respond right away while they are trying to get your business.. then once you sign a contract with them, it's like pulling teeth to get them to communicate with you! Other vendors didn't respond right away, but ended up being great to work with. I definitely found that some of the vendors I initially reached out to via WeddingWire who never responded on this platform, would respond when I reached out via their website, email addy, or instagram account. So it may be that they no longer use WW, or don't check messages often. If there is someone you are really interested in, I would reach out to them via another form of communication and see if they respond that way.

I found (even prepandemic) that many vendors didn't answer if I contacted them through weddingwire. I would contact them through their business websites (whatever the preference is listed there). *Then* if you don't hear back in a reasonable amount of time, write them off.
