Vendor gifts/tips?

We would like to do something special for our photographer and coordinator. Both have been wonderful through our destination wedding process. Should we tip them-probably around $150 each (which is definitely not even close to 20% of their service fees lol) or should we put together gift baskets for them of things we think they would love? We feel like a check for such a small tip amount may be kind of insulting? Idk. But we definitely want to thank them in some tangible way in addition to reviews.

We also had a destination wedding and gave our coordinator a card and money and she was so appreciative. We also had a few pictures taken with her on our wedding day and sent her those when we got them and she was so happy to get those. We became pretty close during the process.

All vendors would much prefer a tip. I wouldn't even know my photographer and coordinator well enough to get them a basket of things they like.
