Vendor Ghosting

Erin, on August 2, 2020 at 8:11 AM Posted in Planning 0 4
My fiance hired a vendor a couple months ago and put a deposit down and everthing was set. I have reached out multiple different ways and multiple times because our wedding is in 2 months and nothing. No response and I'm worried!! Has anyone gone through an issue like this?

    Did he sign a contract?

I'm not sure what the vendor is but just in case I would see if other vendors are available and as the previous person stated check the contract because what may happen is that if you choose to hire another vendor you may lose out on the deposit. I would maybe send a text message and an email letting a person know that their lack of communication is concerning and that if they want to continue to have your business you would like more communication from them.

That’s terrible. Did you sign a contract or anything?

Get a backup vendor asap. If he hasn't made contact once despite your many attempts, it's safe to assume you won't hear from him again unless you take him to small claims court, even with a contract.
