Veils

Amber, on June 1, 2019 at 7:51 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8
Having a hard time deciding on a veil for my cathedral train! Does anyone have any input. Been looking at Waltz veils, and cathedral veils but need one long enough to exceed the length of my dress. Thanks

I went with a fingertip length to allow my train to shine.

I made my veil. A tailor is attaching the lace. It’s made with ombré real silk chiffon . I cut it in a cascade style cut. I’m wearing black with red and silver accessories so I went with black and red

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Amber!

If you're looking for a veil longer than the length of your dress, a cathedral may be the best option. A cathedral veil is one of the longest veil options available and often stretches out far beyond the bride. A waltz veil is designed to fall between the knee and the ground when worn.

How long is the train on your dress? How far does it spread out? If you're comfortable sharing a picture, I'd love to see Smiley smile

With that gorgeous train, I wouldn't wear a long veil. I think a shorter veil (fingertip length or shorter) would be better. As a previous poster said, you don't want to take away from the dress's train.
