Veil or No Veil

Beach brides are you having a veil or no veil. Thinking about just a head piece but then I feel like a veil would bring everything together.

I posted this same question and got great tips. I think I'm going to get an elbow length and then decide the day of in case its windy or something. I dont want it blowing in my face but I agree itd complete the bridal look Smiley smile

Not a beach bride, but we took beach photos! I skipped the veil due to the hair style and ornate hairpieces I was using. I love veil shots (my photographer even asked whether I had a veil to use for our sunset photos) but thought it would take the focus away from my hair.

I want a veil but I am going to wear a big flower crown. I also am heading to a luau right after and don’t know if I want to deal with a veil. I love veil pics on the beach.
I think if you want it do it.

    Hey Nikki,

I would like to have a veil and I'm still on the hunt for one. Someone suggested borrowing one from someone if possible, which isn't a bad idea. I had one picked out but due to 2 hurricanes in 2017 when I picked my dress out, I was unable to get it. I just didn't feel like I looked like a bride without one lol. So the search continues.

No veil for me! I had a few flowers placed in my hair instead. I’m very happy i went with no veil, it was SO windy- you can see my SIL’s hair flying around in the back. Can you imagine if i had a veil??!

No vail or train for me. I'm clumsy AF!😅 Bad memories of being a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding and I wasn't used to wearing a long dress...long story short... I tripped in front of everyone at the very start of the wedding. I really do not want to do that as the Bride!

I think no veil would be better but something pretty like a flower crown or headband would be nice

I do plan to wear a crown of ivy and lily of the valley with an elbow length veil. I'm waiting for my veil to come before deciding for sure but I really think it's going to be beautiful together.
