Veil or no Veil?

Brandi, on November 13, 2019 at 9:54 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
I have a pretty A-line dress with lace at the top and then chiffon ish material at the bottom. There is not a long train, it's pretty but simple. Now I'm trying to decide if I need a veil. If I do, I don't want to spend a ton. Where have you gotten a cheap good looking veil? Or have you done no veil at all?

I've found a lot of very nice veils on Etsy that I'm considering! I'm definitely team veil, it just feels so bridal to me. I've also seen that some (not all) brides who don't wear a veil end up regretting it, but I haven't seen any who do decide to wear a veil regret it. If you're on the fence on having one, I would go for it! Smiley smile

Some other brides on here have directed me to Blanca Veils on etsy, and I fell in love with her work! You can get a cathedral veil for 150 with your choice of lace - she has a ton of options - or have her custom make something for a bit more. Plus I've found that she's super wonderful to work with as I asked her for a custom order that has a lot of specific detail.

I also bought a veil off of Jjshouse that was GORGEOUS and not that expensive, but the cathedral veil was too much. Samantha is helping me put together a similar veil but shorter with a gorgeous lace that matches my dress. So there are options!

I thought about skipping a veil, but it made me feel bridal so now I have one! I would look into Amazon and Etsy for pretty but well-priced veils!

I got mine on amazon for $15.00! I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that will only be worn for a short ceremony and pictures. It is cathedral length, but very simple. My dress had a lot of detail so i didn't want take away from that with the veil.
