Just wondering everyone's opinions on veils. I'm on the fence whether or not I want to wear one. I just love all the amazing pictures you can get with a veil. Mine is cathedral length - it looked great with my super long train. I just got my dress last week so I have to show you haha

I got a veil, it completed my bridal look and elevated my dress to a wedding dress.

I go back and forth on the veil. And then I remind myself that the wedding day is the only day I will be able to wear it.

I would do a simple tulle veil lower down on your head where your hair is halfway pulled back! But it is totally whatever you feel good in. Your dress is beautiful by the way!

I always recommend a veil! It is the one thing that your mom, grandmother, and so on look forward too as it's very traditional! After the ceremony you can easily take it out and put a headpiece in its place!

I didn't want to do a veil at first, but it just completed the look for some reason. It just felt right when I put it on. That isn't the case for everyone, but I suggest you try all of your things on with a veil and see how it makes you feel! For me, it made it feel "real" finally!

I'm contemplating a birdcage veil with headpiece. Not sure though. I'm wondering if others are and would love to see pics...maybe a post is needed.

@Coutney are you in Alaska now and having your wedding in NY? Wow that's a distance! That's similar to my distance--WA now, wedding in NC. Are you finding it challenging? I definitely am.

I'm on the fence. If I do wear one, think I'll have it made when when I get my dress altered.
