Veil length help!

Veil length help! 1
Veil length help! 2
I have had my dress for a bit and just bought a veil off of Etsy. I really love the color and details, but sorry that cathedral length is too much with my dress (A-line, tulle skirt and no train). I was very excited to add a bit of “drama” since I don’t have a train, but I worry that it looks a little off. I wonder if a chapel length would be better suited, but I wouldn’t want the floral details on the end to get lost in the tulle skirt. Any thoughts are welcome, the wedding isn’t until April so I’ve got time to sit on it Smiley smile

It would probably be nice with a veil half or a third that length along the floor. Probably have the floral appliques also descending from the base of your dress instead of starting at floor level too. It seems like a veil would work out nicely.

Oh my, I think the veil is stunning and looks great with your dress!! It definitely adds drama for the ceremony! Personally, I would rock that veil for the ceremony then remove it for the reception. But then again, I am also of the mind that if you are going to do a veil, then you should do a VEIL! I mean when else will you ever have the opportunity to wear such a beautiful dramatic accessory?! Might as well really go for it! Lol

Agreed! I LOVE that veil! It's so pretty! It gives you the drama of a train without the hassle of having to bustle it.

Wow thats gorgeous! I agree with Cece and Paige I d wear it for the ceremony and a few photos and then take it off for the reception. If you aren't comfortable with the length and chapel length veil would look lovely too.Your dress is also stunning! Nice choices!

You can also try different lengths by gathering the veil near your hair to try different lengths. But everyone seems to love that lengthSmiley love

Thanks all for your input! I might still consider doing a chapel length, but glad to know it’s not ~too~ crazy to have a cathedral length veil with my dress Smiley smile
