Veil Help !

Hi ladies & gents! I have a question regarding my veil. I am in talks with Blanca Veils on Etsy (I was directed to her on these forums!) and I am struggling between wanting a raw edge or a lace trim for my veil. Below are two photos of my dress. Unfortunately, at this moment I don't have a "better" view of the back but as you can see there is lace detail at the bottom. I have 100% decided on the cathedral length and it's going to come out from "under" my updo (low messy bun/curls/etc.) So.. can some of you give your input? Lace trim or just plain raw edge?! Thanks all!

    I would only do lace if it could match your lace pretty much exact. Your dress is pretty ornate, a plain edge would look pretty with it.

    My dress was covered in lace top to bottom, so I went with a plain cathedral length veil. No regrets. I didn't want to take away from the lace in my dress in any way. Unless you can match the lace in your dress, I'd probably go with a plain one as well.

    I'd go with the plain raw edge! It would really accentuate the pretty back of the dress

    I vote lace edge, I think they lay prettier & look nicer!I found a scalloped lace edge that was similar to my dress, but not the exact same. It still looked nice together!Veil Help ! 3

    I agree with PP. Unless you can match the detail exactly at the edge, a raw edge would accent your dress without detracting anything from it.
