Veil help!!

Hanna, on December 6, 2019 at 9:28 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
So when I bought my dress I also bought a simple fingertip length veil. It has a scalloped edge with some rhinestones and it’s very simple but my dress has so much detail, I didn’t wanna take away from it.
Now I am seeing all of these beautiful cathedral veils and i’m wondering if it would be too extra to wear a longer veil for the ceremony and wear my fingertip veil the rest of the night?? Please let me hear your thoughts!!!
PS I know people usually take the veil off after the reception but either way I was planning on wearing mine all night. When else am I gonna get to wear a veil, right? Smiley smile

I think that’s a good idea! I started off with a simple fingertip veil but then changed my mind to cathedral. I got a sheer cathedral veil that didn’t compete with my dress...so you could still see the back. I loved it.

I warring my finger tip veil all night...and I too have picked a very detailed gown. So I think you look great besides the flying veil photos are the only reason you would need a long veil or if you have a dress without a train.

Ummmm...it is your day...be as extra as you want apart from riding in on a unicorn lol. I love cathedral veils so why not wear a sheer one mantilla style with some lace edging and like you say the smaller one for the reception? I like that idea. I got a finger tip veil for eloping and I do not care because I have always wanted a veil lol. Do what makes you happy. I got mine off etsy. Smiley smile

I think it’s fine to change out your veil. This is my veil for the ceremony. It’s long and I love it! Haha. I do plan on taking it off after the ceremony and all photos are taken.
