Vanilla or Chocolate Cake? Which One Do You Like Better?

We are doing two flavors. The first is an almond cake with Bavarian cream filling and fresh strawberries. The second is chocolate cake with chocolate mouse filling. Both will have an Italian buttercream!

Amanda, that sounds delicious. Unfortunately, we couldn't explore anything with fruit in it. My grandma is deathly allergic and I'd rather not chance cross-contamination and accidentally send my grandma to the hospital on my wedding day. That's not really part of the vision

I love chocolate as it's own thing, but tend to prefer vanilla cake. Especially with different frosting, the chocolate cake has to be exceptional for me to like it. If I am making my own chocolate cake....then I like it more lmao

I vote chocolate, but if you go vanilla I wouldn't do chocolate filling, stick with the other filling or choose a lighter flavoured filling. Chocolate filling might overpower your vanilla cake and all you taste is chocolate cake which would defeat the purpose of having vanilla
