USPS Stamps - Coupon code?

Tiki67, on October 18, 2013 at 10:23 AM Posted in Planning 0 20

I'm trying to find a coupon code for USPS stamps. I'm thinking of purchasing the Forever stamps w/the wedding roses, but I always explore coupon options first. :-) I have had no luck thus far with USPS coupon codes, though... Does anyone have one?

There is no coupon for postage bc that islike a federal thing. It doesnt go down....only up

    @Erica, THANKS!

@SunshineJenn03, apparently it does. Lol. There was an option to enter a coupon code when I put it in the shopping cart, so I figured I'd check around to see if there was one out there somewhere. lol

@Sarah, okay. Maybe I just misunderstood when I saw "Apply Coupon Code" in the shopping cart.

The coupons are probably for their gift items-- i.e., tshirts, mugs, etc-- not for stamps.

I would have to assume that the coupon code is for items other than stamps

my post office sells cards, gift wraps, etc. that go on sale, but stamps are federally regulated

@ToBeMrsM, thanks. I will definitely weigh my invitations before mailing them. My future MIL has a scale. I was just asking so that when I was ready, I'd have a potential coupon code ready! :-)

That happened to me too ToBeMrsM. I also had to send two international. Made them look real ugly.

I don't know of any coupon code. However, Costco does take a little bit off when you buy a roll. It's not much but better than nothing. This may just be in warehouse and not online.

We bought a bunch of forever stamps for invitations, thank you cards, STD's, etc., just before they increased the price last January. We didn't need them for awhile but it saved us some money in the long run.

Last Dec. I noticed big things of forever stamps for sale at Sam's Club too--the discount was very slight and they only had flags and Xmas stamps, not the wedding stamps.

There aren't any coupons. Only way to save money is to cut down the weight of invites.

Forever Stamps are a good buy because they never lose their value, they only gain it. Keep in mind, most wedding invites need 66 cents postage, not the regular 45 or whatever it currently is. They sell forever stamps at costco in large quantities, not sure if there is a discount on them though.

I heard that stamps are going to increase again in January. I'm getting all of mine before then.

Thanks, everyone. I plan on buying Forever Stamps, and I will be very mindful about the weight. :-) I appreciate your feedback!

@Debbie: I read that, too! I'm planning on getting all mine before then as well!

They definitely have coupon codes. I did a google search and saw alot of different options of codes. Also, it wouldn't say "enter coupon code here" if they didn't offer coupon codes.
