Using Paypal for Photographer?

I haven't used PayPal for any of my vendors, but I own a small crafting business and use PayPal for some of my transactions. I like it because it protects both the buyer and the seller. Here is a link explaining how PayPal keeps you covered.

I used PayPal for my dj and I’ve used PayPal for a lot of purchases and i have had zero issues with it

We paid for our DJ with PayPal. We paid hair and makeup and initial DJ deposit with Venmo. I think it’s pretty common and PayPal has a lot of protections.

Currently using Venmo for photographer and PayPal for DJ an videographer. No issues so far

Thank you for that link! Wedding Vendors don't seem to fall under the Purchase Protection, but they do say there's a 180 day window. Could I get into trouble if I booked now and they dip on me before my October wedding?

As long as you have a contract, I don't think the fact that it was paid through PayPal will make any difference, they'd still be responsible for refunding you if something was to happen.

Using PayPal for photo and video, and venmo for hair and makeup

I used PayPal to pay my videographer and make-up artist. I didn't have any issues but I used PayPal alot of purchases outside of the wedding.

I use Venmo to pay my photographer so pretty similar! I know her through a friend tho so I’m not really worried about it

We used PayPal to pay our photographer! No problems so far

Oh I also emailed her after we sent the payment and had her confirm in writing that she had received it

I love using PayPal and feel more safe using it. We paid most of our venues with it.

I did! It was very easy and efficient. There was a charge but i can’t remember how much. It’s safe and secure.

I used Venmo to pay just about everyone

I used PayPal to pay the seller who made my invitations.

I’ve used PayPal to pay for plenty of goods and services with no issues! Just make sure there’s a contract in writing that you can always refer to if any of that needs to be taken care of down the road.

I signed a contract/scanned it back to him and then paid with PayPal. There were no issues.
