Using Lyft and Uber Events for transportation

I am looking to set up Lyft and Uber Events for transportation for my guests as it seems to be more cost effective. Has anyone ever used this in a suburban area where Lyft and Uber are not very common? Do either company send more Lyft and Uber drivers if I set up an event or is it just based on what it available in the area at that time? I don’t want to set this up and then have guests be stuck at the end of the night.

    Hi Georgia! I had an Uber code for an event my senior year in college in a relatively small town and we all were able to get rides rather quickly! Especially if your wedding is on the weekend, there are usually more drivers anyway!

    Neither company has support lines to call and ask this simple question! I just don’t want my guests to try to get a ride at midnight in a small town and be stuck without transportation.

    Since most Lyft / Uber drivers work on their own time, I highly doubt Lyft/Uber will send more drivers to your area
